I am Nathalie Doria, an interior design graduate from Ringling College of Art & Design. Born in Colombia, I have been living near Miami for most of my life, balancing my Latino roots and ever-growing American lifestyle on a daily basis. As the first generation in my family to receive a Bachelor's degree, I am considerate, perceptive, and determined to use my education for a worthy cause.
After my 4th and final year of my Interior Design course at Ringling College, what I have learned has not only changed my life, but set me on a path I believe to be lifelong. I've learned–and I am still learning–about what design means; as a goal, a passion, a way of living. It's a lifestyle that shapes us as much as we shape it.
As a designer, you hold the reigns to evoking emotions in others; you must be considerate, efficient and determined. The world does not revolve solely around our interests, and we must be mindful with our design philosophies.
In my free time I cook, garden and draw. I love being creative and have been involved in arts and crafts as far back as I can remember. To keep myself up to date with current events, I love delving into podcasts about science, technology and sociology. As a side project, I am currently attempting to expand my grasp of language into German. This would mark the third fluent language under my belt, after English and Spanish.
